Steve Buckhantz’ 1974 JMU Student ID

You know I love me some Steve Buckhantz, and I know you love you some Buckhantz, so let us rejoice in this score from the JMU Sports Blog:

My goodness that’s amazing. I almost can’t even look at it directly. The mustache makes me want to run and hide. Closeup after the jump:

D.C. sports fan and digital media guy that's been doing this since 2004. Once threw a football further than Chris Cooley.

I remember when Buckhantz came into the Vienna Blockbuster with some 10/10. He had this gaudy jacket on and she was dressed to the nines. He asked the workers to show him around the store for new releases. I used to pull up next to him occasionally on Lawyers and 123 around the original Anitas. He’s normally in a Mercedes convertible and I’d just yell “Buck” or “Dagger.” Used to see him at Grevey’s trolling for chicks back in the day too.

I have my parents old “Madison College” yearbooks. I am going to see if Buckhantz is in there – the time frame is right.

In one of them, I made a fascinating discovery that “The Czar of the Telestrator” Mike Fratello was a JMU Assistant in the early 70’s.

I’ll send a scan of Fratello & Buckhantz (if located).

Also, I just noticed it said Steven B. Buckhantz.

Please tell me his middle name is also Buckhantz.
