In expected (but still good!) news for Nats fans, Davey Johnson is returning to manage the Nationals in 2012.
At 69, he’ll be the oldest manager in baseball, and the Nats have a club option to bring him back in ’13. If that were to happen, club sources tell me he’d be 70.
In the bleak, desolate, no good, very bad landscape that is D.C.-area sports, it’s good to see the Nats’ new season on the horizon.
