Notre Dame Sees Maryland’s Unis, Laughs In Their General Direction

This is the football helmet that the Fighting Irish will be wearing when they visit FedEx Field on Saturday to take on the Terps (via SB Nation):

I suppose that if I liked the unis Maryland trotted out against Miami earlier this season, I should like these, but I do not. Not that I really care, though.

Notre Dame’s got to make this glorified exhibition interesting somehow.

D.C. sports fan and digital media guy that's been doing this since 2004. Once threw a football further than Chris Cooley.

I hate Notre Dame. I love UMD. I am not liking Edsall so far. Don’t think we stand a chance but Go TERPS!

Oh man a win over ND would be more gratifying than anyone else. Please destroy these rubes and their bandwagon fans.

can’t stand ND, but i’m not sure why they’d deviate from those plain gold helmets – they are sweet.

I kinda wonder if they can even fill 40,000 of the 90,000 seats.

Notre Dame fans, bandwagon fans??? That’s like saying I’m a bandwagon fan of the Redskins. The team generally had to have been good within the last 10 years to have bandwagon fans…

That helmet is a bit much, especially considering all that “tradition” talk.
