Well, the franchise upgrade from laughing stock to dumpster fire. So, there’s that. Oh, and he won a division which no one else could do with this franchise.

I could stand keeping Shanny, but Haz needs to go. We’ve got to be able to do better than him.

feel like the shanahan is a much better drafter/talent evaluator than coach. wish we had him in that role exclusively.
unfortunately, he’s the best we’ve had in a long while, so….

If Shanny fires Haslett, I’m down with a 20 year contract.

Tough one
If one says that extending him is about acknowledging/rewarding all the wonderful things he’s done here, then of course he shouldn’t be fucking extended.
Problem is there’s no guarantee (I’d say it’s not even likely) that someone better will be available.

We are far better off under Allen and Shanny. If Shanny isn’t extended, who are you going to replace him with? That was the mistake MD made. You better know you are going to upgrade.
Fire Haslett now

I am not sure about extending but I am definitely sure he needs to be here next year. He has yet to have a normal full offseason, Year 1 was trying to salvage the team already in place and just getting accustomed to what he had, Year 2 was the lockout, Year 3 and 4 were the cap penalties. That means this year he should be free to upgrade a few positions through FA and add some depth. Also an offseason of RG3 concentrating on improving as a QB could also help. If he can make the playoffs next year, I am fine with an extension.

DocJ makes the most sense here, although every shitty team can make excuses. I wonder if Andy Reid is available??
Definitely need WRs. Maybe Decker or Kenny Britt in f.a.? Need some secondary and o-line after that. Will also be interesting to see how the team handles Orakpo, who hasn’t given us too much outside of his INT return. 4 sacks on the year, and not a ton of pressure/penalties either.

No to an extension right now — what’s the benefit?
And Shanny needs to be back next year. I don’t care if the skins lose all their games the rest of the way. Another 3 year and out HC change and no half decent coach would look to sign up with this schizo franchise.
Maintain stability.
Let’s keep RGIII healthy for next year, and get some reasonable free agents. After 2014, then review what kind of contract Shanny deserves.
