  1. Nats fielding was much improved. They turned some nifty double plays. The plate ump must have been in a hurry to leave because he had a huge strike zone. LaRoche got pissed on a called third strike and wasn’t shy about it. The ump got even and called his the first pitch of the next at bat (high and outside) as strike. I thought LaRoche was going to lose it.
