No One Is Comfortable With Adidas’ New RGIII Commercial
By Jamie Mottram | February 19, 2013
“Blow it all up” and “all in for Week 1″ may not be the best best choice of slogans. You know, considering RGIII just blew out his knee eight months before Week 1. (Bog has more.)
Update: RGIII just tweeted this to make me feel better.
Feel like I need to say this..Although my goal is to start Week 1, that doesn’t mean I will compromise my career to do so.

pretty sick commercial. the blowing things up part doesnt bother me as much as that “all in for week 1″ title at the end of the commercial…..not sure why that was used.

Yeah, the Week 1 part is what bothers me. Take that out and it’s a fine commercial.

The problem with laying down a marker like this is that it changes the question from “is the knee ready?” to “does the knee feel good enough to play on in week 1?”
