I was kind of rooting for the winless season to continue, if I’m being honest. Alas, Washington barely beat the now 6-9 Trailblazers after blowing a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Top picks of recent vintage Bradley Beal and Jan Vesely contributed next to nothing (the latter didn’t even play), so this isn’t much of an indicator for the future. Speaking of meaningless contributions, Jordan Crawford led Wizards scorers with 19.
Way to go, Wiz. Bugger off, Dray.

Oh how wrong you are about Vesely, Jamie. He played a CRUCIAL 0.2 seconds at the end of the game. He was so good, in fact, that the man he was guarding – the inbounder – BARELY even hit rim on his pass.
