    Bryce Harper Appears To Have Been A Husky 11-Year-Old

    I don’t know if this is actually Bryce Harper. I do know that it looks like him, and @NatsGirl3411 (via Nats Enquirer) says it’s Bryce Harper circa 2004, at which time he would’ve been 11 or 12. Good enough for me. That’s a big kid.

    Update: Commenter Sfindley says this looks like it was taken in Cooperstown, where Harper played from ‘03-05, and that trophy is for winning a HR derby.

    Update No. 2: Thanks to @NatsGirl3411 we now have the site this photo came from. The caption reads, “King of Swat Champion – Bryce Harper (San Diego Stars, California).” These were the finalists (Harper’s third from left):

      ThAt old guy runs a tournament in Cooperstown all summer. It’s awesome! 108 teams of 12 year olds every week. Been twice as a coach.
      If that is Bryce, he is getting a trophy for winning their home run derby.

      Was at this tournament in June. Lots of huge 12 year olds. Lost to a team that included Tracy Rocker’s son. Our leadoff hitter could fit in one of his pant legs.

      hahahaha, cant stop laughing about this picture. When i first looked at it, I immediately thought the guy on the right looked like Mike Shanahan after a long, drug fueled bender.

      Then I realized this guy is too pale to be Shanny.
