It’s really a toss up between who I’d rather run into from the Parks and Rec cast: April Ludgate v. Ron Swanson.

“Should the Birds buy or sell at the trade deadline?”

Is this really up for debate?

Kerfuffle…I’m using this word in a business meeting tomorrow.
Sally, I know you don’t agree with my views on this matter, but you don’t need to get your panties in a KERFUFFLE!

Fuck Courtland Milloy. Is that a political comment?

re O’s buy/sell article: who would they sell? in typical Sun fashion, there’s no actual material in the article.

i could be sold either way, but that depends on who’s involved. though i do believe Angelos & Co should reward a fanbase that’s been demoralized for the last 13 years by making every effort to make the ‘12 playoffs, even if it’s organizationally dumb.

It may be unpopular, but I think the O’s could sell some performing pieces from their bullpen. Bullpen guys tend to have great variances in performance from year to year, if you can get max value for somebody in the ‘pen I generally advocate for it.

Sell Markakis, Roberts and Jim Johnson for starters. If Hammel had stayed healthy, you could have sold high on him (his underlying/historical numbers suggest he’s outperforming his abilities).

Jones, Wieters, Chen and their two stud minor leaguers (obvi) are the only untouchables. Chris Davis probably shouldn’t be traded.

“making every effort to make the ‘12 playoffs, even if it’s organizationally dumb” –> couldn’t disagree more

Wow was Courtland Milloy drunk when he wrote that? That reads like an internet troll finally got into print.

People that voted for Gray are getting exactly what they deserve. At some point the city must choose is it here to serve the poor and most “vulnerable” or does it need to cater, even just a little bit, to those sipping “imported beers at sandy city beach bars”?

As for me, Im off to ride the free city circulator provided to the tax payers of the Greatest City in America!
