Ted ‘Leonsis $$’ Caps Jersey Foul

    By Jamie Mottram | February 27, 2012

As seen by Mr. Irrelevant correspondent Andy Peden at Friday’s Caps game:

It’s unclear whether this custom jersey is a celebration of the Caps owner or some kind of protest fashion, but this much is known: It’s foul.

In other news, today is the NHL trading deadline. Homer McFanboy has five Caps players to watch, and Caps Insider has a trade deadline tracker. Enjoy.

Not to dissent from the boss, but why is this foul?

I disagree with the notion that this is a Jersey Foul, based on the Protest Jersey Exemption.

Pretty much any custom jersey will draw the whistle.
