Video: Steve Blake, John Gilchrist Fight From Nine Years Ago
By Chris Mottram | August 25, 2011
Via Dime, here’s video that just surfaced of rising senior Steve Blake getting into a fight with incoming freshman John Gilchrist during an offseason pick-up game at Cole Fieldhouse in 2003:
Blake now trains in the Art of Mixed Martials during his down time, which presumably means he no longer fights like this.

A preview of the crazy Gilchrist to come. That video is great. Patsos was in no hurry to stop the fight. Earl Badu is really short. And considering Blake has played in the league for almost a decade now, I think he wins this fight

Wow. Blake totally snaps at him. Very uncharacteristic.

I just wish Blake did this against Jason Williams.

Wasn’t Gilchrist terrible? He should be more worried about his game than fighting/running from Steve Blake.
