  1. I live with both a Red Sox and Yankees fan. They watch April baseball games with the intensity of a thousand suns. This annoys and angers me for several reasons, not the least of which is I find April baseball to be an asinine waste of time yet their level of care is validated by the national attention this shit gets on Sportscenter. Meanwhile my intense and vulnerable emotional state concerning my championship contender and their fledgling playoff run feel marginalized.

Then I come to this blog and it continues. It’s not crazy to be 100% focused on the playoff run of my favorite contender, is it? But it’s Nats #1 all the way around here lately.

I get the purpose, and you’ve been transparent about a Nats “movement” and all that. But for the love of God man, it’s the playoffs! It’s fucking the greatest player in the world and our best chance ever at a Cup! It’s ball-shrinking excitement at every turn! I can’t focus for a fucking minute here! I refresh COMMENT sections! Is there a SINGLE baseball fan, let alone Nats fan, that can say that in April?!?! Gimme Caps headlines! VALIDATE MY INSANITY PLEAZE

    /end rant

  2. Not saying my demands are rational.

Try living with a Sox and Yankees duo in April. You don’t know how I feel until you’ve walked a mile in my shoes.
