Watching it like this, edited down to just the strikeouts, makes St. Stephen’s debut even more impressive. Dibble still stinks though. [FYSS]

Anyone play Baseball Stars? I never pitched like that with the American Dreams.

Hate the O’s and love the Nats, but Ben MacDonald threw a complete game shut out in his debut. Just sayin, let’s judge after 20 starts.

McDonald’s debut was in 1989, jackass. What’s more, his ERA after the complete game shutout was 0.48.

Correct. McDonald’s first start was a shutout, but that came after a dozen relief appearances. Not that it matters.

It was a treat to have the game on MLB Network and not have to watch a great moment in baseball history ruined by that jackass Dibble whooping and hollering. Although Costas was running wild with hyperbole calling Strasburg “a historic figure”.

I think you mean ‘a whompin and a whoopin’ you know, the ol’ number 6.
