DMV: Lance Berkman Went, Goddamnit
By Jamie Mottram | June 2, 2010

The 3B ump ruled that Berkman didn’t go on that 1-2 pitch with two outs in the 9th, and the next pitch was knocked into leftfield for a walk-off basehit. [@MrIrrelevantDC, D.C. Sports Bog]

Just a terrible terrible makeup call. I believe Hohn was at 3rd last night. Safe to say he gave Houston that one after getting ripped for tossing Oswalt the game before.

Yep, same guy. Tough series for that cat.

Just replaceed Tschida as my most-hated ump (MHU).
Just saying, why not Stammen instead of Atilano. Shouldn’t the team be rewarding Atilano’s gutsy season so far?

Yeah, I’d prefer they keep Atilano instead of Stammen as well. Keep in mind though, that Atilano’s win-loss record is far better than his other stats, including that he’s walked more batters than he’s struck out.

Granted, not good. But keeping a guy who has an 11.5 ERA in the first is kinda like spotting the other team 1+ runs/game isn’t it? ERA’s not so hot either.
Here’s to the day when we’ll be questioning the FO over better looking stats.
