DMV: I Don’t Care If Daniel Snyder Didn’t Really Buy $600,000 of Alligator Furniture

Yesterday’s story du jour was the NY Post report that Daniel Snyder spent $600k on two alligator-skin desks and matching chairs. You couldn’t even make that up. Except, as it turns out, the story was made up by a guy at Giorgio’s, which sells such goods. That employee was fired post-haste, but Snyder has shopped at the store’s Palm Beach location before. So I’d like to believe there’s some truth to the original report, because it’s too rich to think differently. [D.C. Sports Bog]
