Entry-Level O’s Bloggers Disrespect O’s Sideline Reporter Amber Theoharis

    By Jamie Mottram | February 5, 2010

Eutaw Street Hooligans is an Orioles blog whose proprietors attended the O’s Fan Fest armed with a video camera and their rapier wit. When they met lovely and talented MASN reporter Amber Theoharis, this happened:

For those who don’t feel like sitting through it, that’s a two-minute interview with Theoharis, except Flight of the Conchords’ “Boom King” is dubbed over the audio. Then, around the 2:15 mark, the video cuts to the interviewer and his buddy, who says, “The first question should’ve been, ‘Can you undo a couple of buttons?’” Nice.

I’m not gonna get all worked up about it, because it’s not that big of a deal, but Eutaw Street Hooligans is a shitty site run by mouthbreathers.

Update: The video has now been set to private. That was quick.

sorry, for the late response but i just found this. sometimes, late on saturdays, instead of having fun with friends, i like to stay home and google myself.

you were right about a couple of things. first, we are entry level. we just do this shit for fun. we have other jobs. we are learning as we go.

and the first lesson learned was that the video was in poor taste and we didn’t mean to disrespect her. so, we took it down. there’s your second correct observation.

      people make mistakes, no?

calling us a shitty site and mouthbreathers (low blow by the way, i have a deviated septum, it’s not my fault) would normally have sparked some sort of retaliation but, i’m a huge fan of the dugout, so i can’t say mean shit to you.

Thanks for checking in. Now that you’ve seen the error of your ways I take back the last line of this post.
