We went to see the Tap boys (formerly, of course, The Thamesmen) when the came to DC to play a stripped-down, acoustic show at the Warner last spring on Wednesday, May 13th. We all know what happened that day, at the exact same moment the concert was going on, little more than a few blocks away. Needless to say, I'm not sure how many parallels Caps fans want to draw to the Tap - they sure didn't bring them any luck that night. My favorite Caps-Spinal Tap connection?
