“No way” to this black uni talk. It’s bad enough seeing those TERRIBLE all black replica uni’s every once in a while. That’s just not Skins nation.
In my opinion, whoever decides what uniforms the team wears failed the season.
Not ONCE did we get any sick throwback uniforms, and I guess the days of burgundy tops and gold bottoms are gone?
I’m a big fan of the all burgundy look, too, but PLEASE NO BLACK.

Take it from someone who is both a lifelong ‘Skins fan and a proud graduate of the University of Georgia: That whole black-uniform thing stopped working a loooong time ago.

The only throwback unies for the skins I ever liked were the ones they wore the season Sean Taylor passed and the ones they wore during the ‘94 season. If you remember every team wore throwbacks because it was the NFL 75th year.
Question: am I the only one who wonders how the skins had two 75th year unnis? One was the circle R helmet and the other was the horrid jersey that looked like FSU.

Answer: that “horrid jersey” that I loved was the 70th anniversary jersey, not 75th.

This is a DISASTER. These look like the Arizona Cardinals’ and the Skins’ classic uniforms had an illegitimate child (:johnedwards). Just a ghastly, horrific proposition.
Dan Snyder being Dan Snyder, the moment I saw these, I pretty much resigned myself to accepting that they WILL happen at some point (admit it, they would make a ton of money). The question at this point is to cut losses. I could live with these uniforms being used 1-2 times a year. Tops.
Seriously, why mess with a proven quantity? Our uniforms are among the most distinctive in the whole league. There is so much fail surrounding this whole franchise, it’s honestly not even surprising anymore.
