DMV: Portis Called Out By His Coach
By Jamie Mottram | January 12, 2010
The Zorn era won’t go gently into that good night. Case in point, RB coach Stump Mitchell on his way out the door for the HC job at Southern:
“Clinton could’ve worked harder. He’s got to do that, and Dan [Snyder] has to understand that that’s what has to be done. In order for the Redskins to be successful, that’s what Clinton has to do. He has to change the way he’s done things in the past, in order for them to be successful as a team.”
Well no shit, Stump. But I’m glad he’s saying it. If Portis is to carry on, something’s gotta give. Hopefully it’ll be 26. [Redskins Insider]
