“This is the future HOFer’s seventh team.”

I wouldn’t be so certain about the Hall of Fame part. See: Palmeiro. See also: McGwire.

And really? There wasn’t a cheaper back-up catcher available? Or is Pudge their “BIG” free agent splash?

Feel like Pudge’s level of taint isn’t as high as Raffy and Big Mac’s. Could be wrong.

Beyond the juice, he has all the requisite BS numbers to make the HOF: 14 All-Stars, 13 Gold Gloves, 7 Silver Sluggers, 1 MVP, etc.

Regardless, this is Paul Lo Duca all over again.

The idea LaRon at linebacker triggers endless mental replays of him getting pancaked by Brandon Jacobs. We have good linebackers already. He needs to play strong safety.

      1. Landry got pancaked because he wasn’t ready to make a tackle. Plus, every back in the league is not Brandon Jacobs.

      2. I actually watched Pudge go 3-4 with a homer and a couple of RBI against the Orioles last season at Camden Yards. It was my only ballgame of the year, and I came away thinking ‘Maybe he’s not that bad.’

Then I read this news, and still wanted hurl myself in front of traffic on I-83.
