Fight Poll: Tony Kornheiser vs. Mike Wise
By Jamie Mottram | November 17, 2009

There are no words to describe how juicy the on-air beef between dueling WaPo columnists-turned-radio hosts has become. Actually, there are, and Dan Steinberg has them all, so go read that and vote in the poll to let ‘em know who’s the people’s champ. (Note: I’ve got Wise.)

I think Tony’s brand of self-deprecating whining and back stabbing has worn thin; especially when he comes at the newest version of a Washington sports truth teller.
Wise isn’t as funny, but he’s much more likeable for this generation of sports media consumers.

I like Tony, but he’s a tool. Mike Wise is not a tool. So I hope mike wins

Tony has history on his side. But yeah hes gotten a little outdated.
I like Wise but he’s simply not funny, and certainly not as funny as he thinks he is.
Point goes to Kornheiser

Tough for me to see Kornheiser as “a tool of Daniel Snyder”, he doesnt need Snyder to be an important media figure in Washington.
And Synder could easily go from being hated to being beloved by putting together a winning franchise. He may not be able to do it, but I promise people would like him a hell of alot more if he owned a winning team.
Besides, Wise’s radio show is nearly impossible to listen to. Actually most of 106.7 is pretty bad right now.
