You’re right about that second point. I guess no matter how much I resolve to stop caring about this season, I’m still looking for the “we’re getting screwed by the officials” excuse– as if a few calls can salvage anything at this point.

The fight occurred on Atlanta's sideline, so there was nowhere to pull the Falcons to.

I know I’m asking for trouble… and I know Hall really fucked up… but how was Landry’s hit late? I just went back and watched it again. Landry left his feet before Ryan’s foot first touched out of bounds. I understand protecting the QB, but he was not out yet. Landry hit Ryan as Ryan’s foot hit out of bounds territory. Isn’t a player hittable until a whistle is blown, or he is clearly out of play?

Did anyone else catch the fact that the refs were only pulling Redskins out of the skirmish?
