I’ve never played football before so I don’t know exactly how long it takes to memorize a playbook…but how is it possible that Sherman Lewis is familiar enough with this offense that he’s capable of calling plays? I know it’s West Coast, but still. This seems like even more of a disaster than Zorn calling the plays, if that’s even thinkable.

      Am I missing something here?

Why won’t Sherman Smith call the plays? Isn’t he our actual OC?

In the last 10 years, the Redskins have drafted 8 OL and 15 QB/WR. This doesn’t include at least 5 TEs. WTF?

Love that we have two guys named Sherm. Hate everything else.

Last 10 drafts – Our 1st round pick verses the next OL taken.

      2001 – Rod Garnder v. Steve Hutchinson
      2002 – Patrick Ramsey v Andre Gurode
2003 – No first round pick
      2004 – Sean Taylor v Shawn Andrews
2005 – Carlos Rogers & Jason Campbell v Jammal Brown & Chris Spencer
2006 – No first round pick
      2007 – LaRon Landry v Joe Staley
2008 – No first round pick
      2009 – Brian Orakpo v Alex Mack

Not saying some of these picks weren’t good (Taylor, Landry & Orakpo for instance) but I think I could run behind a line of Brown, Staley, Gurode, Andrews, Spencer and/or Mack. No busts in there.

I refuse to call Landry a good pick until he actually proves that he is good.
