Redskins Training Camp Day 1 Live Blog
By Jamie Mottram | July 30, 2009
Well, not actually a live blog per se, but there are so many media types tweeting from Redskins Park today that we set this up for the non-Twitter addicted Skins fans among us. Follow along right here all day long …
Update: This seems to be working out. Chris, Unsilent Majority and I are adding commentary along the way. Feel encouraged to do the same (though your comments need approval before showing up). And if you’re just getting into Twitter, check out our guide to D.C.-area sports on Twitter.
Update No. 2: Chris here … as camp posts trickle in from around the web, we’ll link them up here.
- Steinz has the story on Jim Zorn’s new training camp dress code, along with the reaction to Z trying out the Chris Cooley-style short-shorts. “Cmon coach, you’ve got to show us your bony legs?”
- The Times’ Dave Elfrin has a point-by-point recap of the first practice, in which he jinxes the team by mentioning there were no injuries (mentioning the jinx here acts as a counter-jinx) and calls Clinton Portis a “diva running back.” Can’t say I’ve heard that one before.
