DMV: Will Snyder Buy 106.7 the Fan Too?
By Jamie Mottram | July 20, 2009
DMV is a daily roundup of District-Maryland-Virginia (mostly) sporting links.
Happy day, D.C. sports fans! More than a year after the Skins owner took control of local sports radio airwaves by purchasing ESPN 980, WJFK relaunches as 106.7 the Fan to give you sports talk free from Danny’s thumb. But wait, what’s that?
More than one source tells us that Snyder, who owns sports talker ESPN 980, is talking to CBS about buying WJFK.

As much as I enjoy the image of Tavarez being gripped by his ankles or neck and waved around Nationals Park, I’m pretty sure he was waived by the Nats.
