I watched two Nats games while home in the DC area the past few days. One they lost when Nick Johnson dropped a routine pop up in foul territory, resulting in a game winning homer the next pitch. The other they lost when a routine grounder hit the bag and redirected into left field to allow the game winning run to score.
In other words, I’m convinced God just hates us all, Manny Acta included. I blame Dan Snyder.

No mention of the Hershey Bears winning the Calder Cup? I know that’s like the USA winning the FIFA Under-16 World Cup, but we gotta take what we can get right now.

I can barely follow the NHL, let alone the AHL.

Elijah Dukes is taking all of this in stride. Our angst should not be the cause of his eruption.
