DMV: Scott Takes Old Roommate Deep

    By Jamie Mottram | June 12, 2009

luke-scott-gun.jpgDMV is a daily roundup of District-Maryland-Virginia (mostly) sporting links.

Things were going so well for a moment. The Nats had just won (see below), followed by Luke Scott homering off of his roommate from last year, Garrett Olson, to put Baltimore ahead 2-0 in the first. But the return of Koji didn’t go well, and the O’s lost their ninth in 11 games, meaning the O’s and Nats still haven’t won on the same day since May 9. It was Scott’s 14th home run in just 150 at-bats (someone call Jerod Morris), and “the team has played 127 innings since a player not named Scott or Reimold has hit a home run.” [The Sun]

L’Enfant Plaza is a safe haven. Suitland, not so much.
