Haynesworth Is Reckless

… on two misdemeanor traffic charges in Tennessee …
Pssshhh, traffic violations? What, was he speeding or something? Big deal, geez. Nothing to see her–
… after an accident that seriously injured another driver.
Oh. Shit. Not good.
District Attorney Kim Helper says Haynesworth faces charges of reckless driving and having expired registration. Haynesworth was released after surrendering Wednesday. Maximum punishment is six months in jail and a $500 fine on the reckless driving.
Oh boy. This isn’t enough to get him suspended by the league, is it? Wait … uh … I mean, man, I really hope that driver he injured is okay.

You didn’t know about this? I also love the use of “seriously injured” without any other details. The kid can’t walk on his own and had hip replacement surgery at age 25.

The charges were known, but it was only just now that he was actually indicted, which is, you know, worse.

That’s what I got from this, Chris. I’m not sure why it wasn’t reported more. I mean it took ESPN a month to cover it. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3903573 But to be fair they did report that TO dropped a chicken wing at dinner last night.

Come on folks. He’ll be fine. I don’t know about the other person but I’m sure he’s going to see a nice chunk of change. As long as AH isn’t giving tug jobs to minors at WaWa or stuffing his girlfriend in a duffel bag I can live with this “news”.
