Duke’s Williams Uses LeBron’s Crab Dribble, Minus the Dribbling Part
By Chris Mottram | February 23, 2009
Duke lost four of six after their January 21st victory in the game-that-shall-not-be-mentioned. So, Coach K decided to start tinkering with the starting line-up, and for Duke’s last two games, he’s used freshman guard Elliot Williams as a starter. I haven’t seen him play much yet, but if this clip from last night’s game vs. Wake is any indication, it seems he’s quickly learned that when playing in Cameron, the refs tend to, um, look the other way:
Duke has won both games that he’s started, and he’s played 30+ minutes in both, so expect to see plenty of Williams on Wednesday night (9PM, ESPN!).
