Skins Winners & Losers, Matinee Edition
By Jamie Mottram | November 30, 2008
Win and keep up with Dallas. Lose and, well, there’s easier sledding ahead. So the Skins don’t need this one, but wouldn’t it be nice?
Thank goodness, too, because the Giants are the best team around: defending Super Bowl champs, 10-1 and the same outfit that embarrassed Washington on opening night. They are, however, sans Plaxico Burress (how, exactly, does one shoot oneself in one’s leg at the club?) and the online sportsbook only favors New York by 4.5.
Think happy thoughts, and hope that Justin Tuck doesn’t do to Jason Campbell what it appears LT is going to do to Mark Rypien in that vintage Getty photo. Chris will be at the game, getting overserved in a luxury box, and I’ll be watching at my buddy Andy’s, sipping Todd Collins.
As for you, you know the deal: Share your thoughts and emotions with us right here, and we’ll be back later with our own. It’s therapeutic, really.

What stat are these announcers going by to determine the Giants as the number rush defense?
Not even close.

Well that was fun…couldn’t even pick up a TD in garbage time with the Giants in prevent.
The execution on this team is a joke - dropped passes, missed assignments, penalties, you name it.
Anybody think we’re actually going to beat the Ravens? When we can’t even get to manning when we’re rushing 8?

Way to fuck up the Sean Taylor game, AGAIN. Boomking does not approveof the teams play right now
And as the next week. It will be a embarrasment on national TV once again.

Maybe they meant the Giants were #1 in Rush OFFENSE, not RUSH Defense.
Otherwise, no clue.

The Skins will win next week, only because they’ve been written off again.
But yeah, today was terrible. Suisham is awful and Fat Punter is killing us too. It’s amazing that the team is regressing the way they are. Sucky.
