Skins Winners & Losers, Matinee Edition

    By Jamie Mottram | November 23, 2008

twelfthman.jpgYes, Seattle, the Redskins have a 12th man too, and it’s not some top-down marketing scheme, no sir, it’s this guy. Just some guy with a custom jersey and poor taste. But that’s not what this is about.

And it’s not about Jim Zorn and Shaun Alexander returning to Seattle, or the Seahawks ending two of the Redskins’ past three seasons. I couldn’t care less about that.

What I do care about is wins and losses. Winning puts the Skins in prime Wild Card position at 7-4. Losing pushes them back to the middle of the pack at 6-5. The Seahawks are 2-8. Let’s win this fucking thing, shall we?

The Bodog sportsbook favors Washington by 3.5 (thank you, Bodog), so place your bets over there and share your emotions with us right here in the comments. We shall return in kind. It’s therapeutic, really.

Portis is active. Portis is starting. Portis says “he feels the best he has in weeks”.

I am going on the record and predicting 2 touchdowns for #12 today.

      Yep.

One quarter down, and the two “highlights” have been a 44-yard run by Maurice Morris and Shaun Suisham coming up short on a 43-yard FG. So, yeah, not good.

Hey, 12 caught a pass! Not quite two scores, but still, nice call, Mayor.

      “Short kick…”

      “Intricate chess match…”

“I hate to use this cliche, but…”

      Kill. Me. Now.

with 1:40 left, there is no reason to hand off. Campbell tales two knees and it’s 4th down with about :15 seconds left. Got lucky that Hasselbeck sucks as much as his sister-in-law.
