I'll take any distributing point guard (rubio or jennings) any big who can score and rebound (griffin) or a big who can play some fucking defense (monroe)

My quandary, if you can call it that, is why the team consistently decides around 6-8 minutes left in games, they are going to just quit. If they finished 2 or 3 of those games (the Rockets and Bucks games stand out), things wouldn't be THAT bad. I really don't think they lack in talent to the point they should be 1-9.

Of the seven guys mentioned in these first two comments, three are unproven (Vale, NY and Dray), two are injured (Gil and Brendan), one is injury prone (Caron) and one is 32 (Antawn).

So, yeah, adding top-of-the-lottery talent would be most excellent, though losing the games to get there would not. That's my quandary.

Here's my quandry:

We have the PG position locked up in Gilbert. I use locked up loosely but it's clear that we don't really have use for a franchise player at that position w/ so much money invested in Arenas. Obviously we could use one right now but he'd be right back to the bench when Gil came back

SG: nick young is the future here in my opinion short of getting an unbelievable player somehow. he's developing nicely.

SF: Butler (no shit)

PF: we just resigned jamison AND that perpetual disappointment Blatche to long term deals. anybody we draft is at least 2 years away from playing significant time.

C: you have to believe that Kill + Mode = Cheese.

Nah. If Haywood comes back before the break, and Gil plays at least 60 percent like he's capable, the Wiz can get the seventh or eighth spot in the east.

Besides, why draft when they should be trading Blatche for a veteran who at least knows how to rebound.
