Da’Rel Scott Comes Out Ready to Run Over Any, All Would-Be Defenders

Less than 30 minutes later, Scott did something similar to a UNC lineman for a touchdown. The Terps are up 7-5 early despite giving up a safety on their first drive. If they hang on to win, I shall wear my Maryland shirt out tonight here in Charlotte, which is overrun with UNC fans. I’m obnoxious like that.

(To clarify, that’s a female Da’Rel ran over above, which certainly doesn’t make it funny. Nope. Nothing hilarious about that at all.)

The current score in the 3rd quarter is about as sexy as those three: MD is losing 15-14.

UPDATE 2: Maryland wins 17-15 on a last minute field goal and subsequent INT on 3rd and 22.  Destined now controlled. If they win out — FL State at home next Saturday night and then at BC — they’re going to Tampa. Also, Jamie would want me to mention that JMU whooped that ass, beating William & Mary 48-24.

UPDATE 3: The Terps are now the 22nd best team in all of the land according to the latest AP poll.
