When did all of our readers lose a fucking sense of humor? The joke here was that I was saying "god damn you, John McCain" for forcing the game to start early. I mean, fucking Christ, people. I wasn't attempting to discuss politics. I was attempting to discuss the start of the Redskins game.

1. I’m glad the game starts at 7:00 instead of 8:30 – What, do you really want to listen to John Madden & Al Michaels talk about Brett Favre’s love of the game for 90 minutes? (on top of the time they’re sure to devote to the gunslinger during & instead of the game)

2. I realize this can only provoke a response of, “if you don’t like it, read something else” but can you guys back off the political agenda? I don’t think there’s a person reading your sports blog who has any interest in your political opinion-whichever way it slants.

3. Here’s where I think it gets interesting: what happens if the game goes to overtime? Does NBC switch to the speech & snub football fans? Do they stick with football & snub republicans? Would McCain be willing to delay his speech until the game ends?

I wont be watching the speech either if it runs over, and the DTC Captains have very different political views.

The President is on the Obama bandwagon, while the Mayor has a front seat on the Straight Talk Express.

No politicking on the lot, unless its for an election for Mayor of FedEx Field.
