Portis Still Wants No Part of Preseason

The word is that Clinton Portis will make his preseason debut tomorrow night against the bills. Sherman Smith, who I keep forgetting is the offensive coordinator of this team, says he’ll be limited to a series or two. This, of course, is still a series or two too much for Portis’ taste:
“I’m not looking to see nothing. I’m looking to see how long they’re [going to] leave me out there, to be honest,” Portis said. “Is this [going to be] good? For who? For y’all? For the media? For the public? I guess. But what’s good for [No.] 26 is rest. Rest is important. Rest is vital.”
Yeah, I don’t think you’ve made yourself clear here, Clinton. Let’s take a trip back to ‘06 so you can tell us how you really feel about all these preseason games:
