To Stalk, Or Not to Stalk?
By Chris Mottram | July 11, 2008
I bring this up partially to rub it in, but mostly for your assistance: I’m headed to NYC tomorrow for all the MLB All-Star festivities and I truly need help deciding if I should bring back the stalker or not. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, there is a video here that should bring you up to speed. It basically involved me putting on sunglasses (usually indoors, mind you) and standing behind famous people. It really is as easy as it sounds.
But here’s the dilemma: Is the stalker stuff played out? There is a fine line between funny and overkill with this. Or maybe I’m just over-thinking things. I mean, it was funny then, it should be funny now, right? As you can see, I’m torn here. So please, help a blogger out and vote below. And I’ll have access to basically every player ever up there, so any ideas, recommendations, etc. are welcome in the comments.

You couldn’t not stalk even if you wanted to. It’s who you are!

This might be hard to pull off, and would require some good sports among the famous people, but it might be funny to do a reverse stalk. Have pictures of you, with the famous person in the background wearing the sunglasses.

Jake, you mean like this?
I might try to do more of that with MLBers. We shall see.

Stalk George Sherrill. Of course, you’ll need a perfectly flat pair of sunglasses.

You know when I posted that I thought it already sounded familiar. Touche Chris, touche.
But yes, like that. Only more, I want more.

I voted yes. You are a typecast blogger.

I say 12 stalker posts per year is your limit before it begins feeling like it’s played out. I haven’t been counting, but I don’t think you’ve hit 12 yet, have you? You can’t count the Carson Palmer one.
