That’s Not a Rivalry. That’s a Rivalry.
By Jamie Mottram | June 30, 2008
In light of this past weekend’s Beltway Battle, there’s much talk on/in The Post about the intense nature, or lack thereof, of the Nats-O’s rivalry:
- George Solomon: ‘This Could Be the Start of a Beautiful Rivalry’
- Dan Steinberg: ‘Nats-O’s Rivalry Gets Serious’
- Chico Harlan: ‘Do you consider Washington-Baltimore a rivalry?’
To answer Chico’s question, I’d say yes, of course. But until fans start fighting in the stands and wearing t-shirts like this, it can’t be considered serious, let alone beautiful.
