Radhames Liz and the Flipping of the Lids

Yes, the O’s appear primed for their annual June (through September) swoon, and, no, there hasn’t been much flattening of the brims in Birdland lately. But on comes 24 year-old, skinny, long-armed Dominican Radhames Liz with a fine start in his ‘08 debut — after a miserable ‘07 call-up — and the most happening celebration in baseball commences yet again.

Now if only someone — anyone — in the lineup would start hitting .275+ …

I have been waiting for the annual Os swoon all season and I think this team is too scrappy to completely fall off like old squads.
Yes, it is essential in baseball to score runs. Better hitters would be nice.

I think theyll still fall off this year, but not because they dont care. I meann how much can you rely on Millar to clean up hit for you? (even though he just hit a bomb).
