Camden Yards Is Conducive to Homers
By Chris Mottram | May 28, 2008
As glorious as the Mottram man trip to Camden was on Monday, yesterday’s game may have outdone it (although I am a sucker for some great pitching and defense). It had a little bit of everything, including free baseball, which is the best you can hope for at a ballgame. Most notable, however, were the combined nine home runs the Yanks and O’s hit. And keep an eye out for Luke Scott in the dugout doing what appears to be the Frank the Tank machine gun celebration:
The O’s are now 3-1 at home against the Yankees this season and 16-7 overall in Camden. Home cookin’ is a nice. That’s almost as impressive as the Rays, who are 20-9 in their piece of shit ballpark.
Also worth mentioning while we’re here: State Trooper Giambi is back.

Another highlight from this game Greivis Vasquez being interviewed by Amber Theoharris and asking Terp fans to have faith and be patient “were going to be good”.
Nice.
