Caron and DeShawn Toast the Good Life
By Jamie Mottram | May 12, 2008
Today is slow on the D.C. sports front, so, behold, some Wizards in the club!
Lazy day, bullet-style observations:
- I don’t know that first song, but I’m sure it’s a smash hit. People get old awfully young around here.
- “DeShawn Stevens” is hilarious.
- Caron is underrated as a fashion icon.
- At what point does DeShawn drop the “I Can’t Feel My Face” move? I think it’s when a DJ implores him to do his “dance.”
- Let’s hope that the fellows didn’t have the same reaction to drinking straight from the bottle that Joey did on Real World: Hollywood.

Jamie, I’m highly disappointed in you. How can you not be familiar with Young Joc’s classic hit, “It’s Goin Down”? In fact, the song’s always reminded me of you…I can just picture you doing this:
“Catch me in the hood
Posted by the store
pistol in my lap on the phone countin dough”

Mrs. Relevant and I were listening to XM 20 (which only plays top-20 songs, I believe) for an hour last weekend, and the only song I knew was Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar.”
It was a sad day indeed, though I am proud of myself for knowing that it’s not the dude from Maroon 5 singing the hook.

XM 20 is where you went wrong, Jamie. You need to listen to 66 Raw. From “Slap a Motherfucker Monday” to “Freaky Friday”, Mz. Kitti’s got you and the misses covered.
And Joey from Real World = Dragonball Z.
