Wiz-Cavs III: Gilbert’s Infinite Joy and Pain
By Jamie Mottram | April 25, 2008
My favorite part of the Best Night Ever? Gilbert Arenas being announced as a surprise starter and jumping onto the scorer’s table as ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ blasts and the crowd goes apeshit. (photo via AP)

My least favorite part? Being handed this sheet of paper 90 minutes later.

The fact that he’s playing through this on the eve of what should be the biggest contract of his career is one of the bravest and dumbest moves imaginable in sports. And it’s why we should love him now more than ever.
