Seen by my own two eyes or at least rumored to be there last night: Colin Powell, Soulja Boy (more on him later), Pastor Troy, Larry Hughes, Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, Roy Hibbert, Jeff Green, Patrick Ewing Jr., Travis Garrison, James Gist, Bruce Pearl, Rock Cartwright, Mike Sellers, Mike Fratello, Michael Wilbon, Tony Reali, Stephen A. Smith, The Maj and so on.
Of course, my favorite was, is and forever shall be Coach Janky Spanky, courtside in sunglasses and day-glo high-tops.

Putting on my shoe nerd cap, I think Portis is wearing Ato Matsumotos — seems to be the “hot, exclusive” thing right now — but I’m not 100 percent sure. A pair should set you back about $400. Still not 100 percent sure because the Ato Matsumotos I’ve seen pictures of usually only have two straps, not three.
