The Sporting Blog, Now With Less Ugly
By Chris Mottram | April 10, 2008
The only thing extinguishing some of my excitement about the re-launch late last night of The Sporting Blog is the fact that it’s buggier than Bubs. But on the surface, it looks pretty damn good (I hope). It’s a project that’s been about six months in the making, and the results are worth the wait. Or they will be, once we clean it up.
As I mentioned in a post this morning over at TSB 2.0, some of the exicting new features we have include blockquotes, jumps, text wrap and fancy widgets on the rails. Basic stuff, I realize, but new to us. Also, the process of signing up to be a commenter will be streamlined this week, so you don’t have to sign your life away to get a member name. I fully realize that the commenting on TSB completely and totally sucks. I’m doing what I can about that.
In the mean time, please (continue to) check out TSB and bask in its new, fiery red glow.
