Chris Cooley Is Going to Be a Blog Star
By Jamie Mottram | April 1, 2008
If I were to put together a short list of NFL players that I wish had a blog, Clinton Portis would be No. 1 with Chris Cooley not far behind. That is, if Cooley didn’t have one already.
Indeed, the big news comes via D.C. Sports Bog that Captain Chaos is a blogger. The results so far — notes from Hawaii, pics of his new dog Dale Earnhardt and, best of all, his high school highlight reel — are just OK for me, dawg, but the potential is off the charts.
Will Cooley write about his crazy hair? Short shorts? Smokin’ hot fiance? Johnny White Guy? Taking 21 shots of Beam? Depositing $9 million checks at the drive-through?
If those are all parts of his past, and they are, imagine the hijinx that are sure to ensue now that 47, like Gilbert Arenas before him, flies high within the blogosphere. With any luck, Janky Spanky’ll follow his lead.
