Chicago Signs Our Old Friend B. Lloyd, Regrets It Immediately
By Jamie Mottram | March 8, 2008
Settling in for a full day of college hoops while enjoying a bagel and the Post (glad to have Rock back in the fold), I stumble across great news — Chicago signs Brandon Lloyd! Of course, B. Lloyd’s first foot-in-mouth moment with his new employer occurs in no time flat:
“Rex Grossman is the starter,” Lloyd said during a conference call … Well, not exactly … The Bears have said that Grossman and Kyle Orton will compete for the starting job next season, and Lloyd apparently jumped to a premature conclusion.
Ouch. That’s pretty indicative of the number of teams expressing interest in The Receiver (I’m gonna go with one) exceeding the number of minutes Lloyd took to sign on the line that is dotted (uh, zero). And my man better hope that Sex Cannon gets the nod over Whiskey Breath, or else he may not see a ball all season. Though he does have some experience with that.
Either way, I’m pulling for the guy, I really am, but I have a feeling this goes the way of another ex-Redskins’ free agency bust that Chicago signed last offseason, Adam Archuleta. Do they know Mark Brunell is still available?

Also, in other RB-related moves, the Skins entered today $4.9 million under the cap, sources said, but that does not include the Clinton Portis renegotiation, which is complete and will put the Skins about $8 million under the cap once official and entered in the league files.
Looks like Portis is styaing and “The Mayor”’s sources are as clean and realiable as that stupid traffic cone he drinks out of.

1. When your 76% right, your 24% wrong. Sorry to dissapoint.
2. Speaking of dissapointments, does anyone even read your shitty blog? I will answer that. No. It sucks. Nobody reads it. Nobody comments it. No advertisers.
So why don’t you shut the fuck up you stupid bitch.
