Dmitri Paints His Teeny Little Fingernails

    By Jamie Mottram | March 6, 2008

What’s not to love about our 298-pound (hopefully backup) first basemen with the hair, nickname and batting average to die for? Nothing, really. The man does no wrong in the eyes of Mssrs. Irrelevant, including painting his damn fingernails. Oh yeah, that’s right, the Post Spotlight series reveals dainty Dmitri in all his femme glory:

No explanation for the artsy cuticles is given in the video, but follow the link for more good clean fun, including the big man practicing his slide game and sharing his favorite nickname: “I prefer Meat Hook.” Me too, Dmitri. Me too.

Update: Meat Hook also painted his toenails (scroll down) to see “what you can get away with.” If there’s evidence of that, we don’t want it.
