Just when you start paying attention to the NFL Combine and sheep-shit crazy 40 times, ‘89 Score Tony Mandarich reminds you that it doesn’t really matter. If you can get past the good looks-high fashion combo on the card front, just read the back and recall that the ‘89 draft class also produced Barry Sanders, Troy Aikmen, Deion Sanders and Derrick Thomas. And that’s just in the top five. But did they wear Bike shorts on the cover of SI?
