One of the Three Sean Taylors Scores TD

    By Chris Mottram | February 10, 2008

The Pro Bowl served as excellent background noise for my mid-afternoon nap today (beauty sleep, bitches), but I did manage to awaken from my slumber just in time to see Matt Hasselbeck connect with Captain Chaos, who was one of three Skins wearing Sean Taylor’s number:

I’m not going to try to pretend that play was somehow emotional or touching (or whatever) because Cooley was wearing No. 21 (and based on his extremely enthusiastic reaction, I assume he feels the same way), but it was better than him not scoring a TD wearing No. 21. Right?

And while we’re here, I asked Hasselbeck on Radio Row last week why he had to beat the Redskins so bad in the playoffs. His response: “Because they cut my brother.” Good point, Matt. I then promptly stalked the shit out of him.

    Update:
The NFC won. The key to their victory — according to Daryl Johnston (and I swear he said this) — was their ability to get tackled on the six yard line, because defenders are only allowed to use press coverage inside the five.

Not mentioned – Tim Hasslebeck was stalking you, as a gag for the NFL Network.

Bryant Gumbel thought it was particularly funny.

The headline led me to think that Red Snapper reached paydirt.
