Super Tuesday: Elect the New Skins HC
By Jamie Mottram | February 5, 2008
Danny and Vinny need your help. Since Gibbs retired, they’ve bungled the hiring process by spurning Gregg, ignoring Grimm, hiring coordinators and dragging this thing out in epic fashion.
As it stands, 31 NFL teams have a head coach. The Redskins do not. Fassel was thought to have the job two weeks ago. Spagnuolo, on the crest of a Super Bowl wave, is being interviewed today. Mariucci is thought to be in the mix, and Meeks has had the pleasure of partaking in not one but two never-ending interviews.
Like the Republican party and their mix of lackluster presidential candidates, Redskins fans aren’t sure who to support. I’d prefer to go with the unknown (Spags or Meeks) rather than the known (Fassel and Mooch), but let us know what you think via this handy dandy polling device …
Vote to Elect the Redskins’ Next Head Coach*
* Crazy Eye Vinny’s decision is said to be coming this week, so help sway him with a dose of public opinion. And, no, that image is not Photoshopped.

Danny and Vinny have screwed this up royally. I think they want to hire Spags b/c he’s hot now that the Giants held NE to 14 pts. Ok, fine. But here is the issue. The Skins D is good and they promoted within so nothing should change. But on offensive, we now have a guy who has never called plays who will be running a new system. So we need a HC with an offensive background to help install the new system; Enter Fassel or Mooch, both of who suck. Way to back yourself into a corner, Danny Boy!!! Assface!

Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought in Ron Paul to interview for head coach.
