Do We Want Chad Johnson on the Skins?

    By Jamie Mottram | February 1, 2008

Not to answer my own question, but, yeah, I’d like a little Ocho Cinco with my Burgundy & Gold. And whether you agree or not, it’s a topic that needs addressing now that Jason La Canfora says, “Don’t be surprised to see the Redskins as major players in the sweepstakes to land [Chad Johnson].”

Now, don’t get me wrong, we’ve all had enough of Danny acquiring big names for the sake of acquiring big names, but Johnson’s an elite player at a position of need (slight need is need indeed). He’s also a bit of a showman, and I’m a big fan of showmanship. A team with Ocho Cinco and Janky Spanky would probably make me weak in the knees.

Wow. Will DC be big enough for Ocho Cinco and Agent Zero?

We must seek the counsel of Chuck Brown on this issue.

While I would certainly be a huge fan of bringing this guy in, most likely it wont happen.

At slightly 22 mil over the cap, we need to trim alot of “fat” from the roster just to be legal with the league.

Now, if Danny has inside knowledge that the cap will not be in effect after 2010,well then the league better watch out.

But if he doesnt, look for a 1997 San Fran like roster.

Welcome back, Mayor. I was starting to miss you.
